This is something I’ve struggled with all my life. I’ve always felt like I should be doing something amazing with my life. It wasn’t until the last decade that I’ve finally come into my own. It took a great leap of faith though. It was a lot of struggle and turmoil in the beginning.

I had to create something out of nothing. Actually, I started from less than nothing– I was deeply in debt.

I looked into various ways of translating my offline business skills into the new business world of the Internet. It was hard, at first, but I made a creative choice that changed my life (and ultimately the lives of other people), forever.

This creative thinking and daring to be different pulled me out of debt and into a kind of success I’d only dreamed about before.

My initial success was based on trend marketing– getting creative about making money from something that was majorly popular at the time. It was such a surge to finally have gotten it RIGHT. That’s when I realized the “special” and most naturally creative people aren’t the only ones who can become successful.

I didn’t rest there, of course, because I saw so many other people struggling. I’ve discovered that other people are at the center of everything.

This energy turned into something great, and I owe a lot of my success to daring to be different. Now that I look back, I did a lot of things the hard way. The pressure was almost unbearable back then. It was only because I had to succeed that I was able to at all. For a while, this narrowed my path until it was clear I’d come out on the other side.

These days, I’m free from that pressure. I live a great life and have unlimited access to wonderful ideas that help other people, that help myself, and that increase my income on a steady basis.

I’m not saying this to brag– anyone who knows me knows that I don’t really like to talk about money or even my personal successes. I prefer to quietly help others do the same. I say all of this to illustrate something– I wasn’t born a creative thinker. I wasn’t always someone who came up with great ideas and found steady success. It wasn’t until I hit a wall and had a choice to go up or down. I chose up.

I want you to be able to choose to go “up” as well. I’m living proof that you can start from a really bad place and transform your business into something incredible.
